US wealth manager Xavier Volatier expects the country’s artificial intelligence sector to keep expanding for years, while American clients are showing greater interest in investing in Europe. He shared the outlook in a Euronews interview on November 5, after the US midterm elections.
Volatier, head of Transatlantic Private Wealth, told Euronews that he expects the “tremendous growth” in US AI to continue for many years, based on what he sees among the firm’s clients. He also described Americans as remaining optimistic about the broader US economy and said diversification remains important.
His comments were made as markets assessed the political implications of the November 3 election. Democrats won control of both the House and Senate, according to The Associated Press. The new Congress is due to take office in January 2027, creating a shift in the balance of power in Washington.
Clients show interest in European investments
Volatier said more US clients were willing to invest in Europe. The interview did not identify specific countries, assets or investment amounts, so the remark reflects a general observation about client interest rather than a measured market trend.
He also anticipated that the new makeup of Congress could bring changes to the political approach to AI in the coming weeks. The interview did not specify what policy changes might follow. Volatier’s prediction of continued AI-sector expansion is his assessment, not a guarantee of future returns.
